A management desktop app redesigned around how people actually work.

Plus Workflow is a desktop management application for Suncode, designed to give teams a clear, structured view of their work — tasks, workflows, deadlines, and collaboration — within a single, well-considered interface. Divante led the full UX research and product design process, from discovery through to a production-ready Figma specification.

Background

Suncode is a Polish technology company building software tools for business process management. Their Plus Workflow product needed a desktop interface redesign — one that would reflect the maturity of the underlying platform and the complexity of the workflows it managed, while remaining accessible to non-technical users who relied on it daily.

The challenge was typical of B2B productivity software: the existing interface had grown organically over time, adding screens and features without a coherent design system or information hierarchy. Power users knew how to navigate it; new users struggled.

Our Approach

Divante began with structured discovery: interviews with Suncode’s own team and a set of representative end users, mapping the key jobs-to-be-done across different user roles. The research surfaced a clear pattern — users needed rapid access to their own active tasks, a way to understand the state of shared workflows without navigating deep menu trees, and notification and escalation patterns that matched how urgency actually works in practice.

From the research, the team developed a design system and a full set of desktop UI components tailored to the Workflow product. The dashboard structure was rebuilt around a task-centric model, with secondary views for workflow visualisation, team coordination, and reporting. The visual language was designed to feel authoritative and efficient — appropriate for a tool used primarily in a work context.
