Tomasz Karwatka and Piotr Karwatka, founders of Divante, who were Members of its Management Board, have become Members of Divante’s Supervisory Board. Marcin Łaskawski, previously a Member of the Company’s Management Board, will become its President. The composition of the Management Board will be extended to include Piotr Maksim, who will be in charge of business development. Also the Company’s legal form will change from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company.

Marcin Łaskawski has been with Divante for 4 years, working as its COO and CFO. He has considerable experience in consulting (Ernst&Young) and as a C-Level Manager for such organisations as Carrefour, Travelplanet and others.

Piotr Maksim will be Chief Growth Officer in the Company’s new structure. He has been with Divante for two years. His previous experience includes the establishment of some successful IT companies, where he was the CEO, and working at managerial positions in Volvo in Sweden.

‘Together with Piotr Karwatka, we have been involved in the area of new products and innovations for a long time now. We would like to appreciate the efforts of both Marcin Łaskawski and Piotr Maksim, who have been at managerial positions within the Company for a long time and, at the same time, to realign the Company’s management structure. In our capacity as Members of Divante’s Supervisory Board, we will support all growth initiatives,’ said Tomasz Karwatka.

Divante is developing dynamically. At the end of the third quarter of 2020, it has generated 28 per cent more revenue, compared to the corresponding period of 2019. The Company’s EBITDA at the end of September 2020 was higher by over 39 per cent when compared to the corresponding period of 2019. The Company’s successes of 2020 include the global development of proprietary sales support applications and a consistent increase in the sales revenues from foreign projects, which has a positive impact on the financial performance and profitability. In subsequent quarters, Divante will focus on open-source projects and IT-related social initiatives on the DACH and US markets. In the opinion of shareholders, the organisational changes carried out in the fourth quarter favour the achievement of further ambitious goals.

In recent years, the Company has developed and successfully launched Vue Storefront and Open Loyalty, applications that are gradually becoming more and more recognisable on the international market. The companies using those solutions include, but are not limited to, the head offices of Tally Weijl, Zadig&Voltaire, Aldo, Warba Bank.

Divante also plans to use the model of cooperation with large technological platforms and supplement their offer with its own components.

‘We want to carry out many more implementations such as the eCommerce product co-creation for SAP, R&D cooperation with Shopware (a leading German eCommerce system) and the commercetools implementations.  The direct co-creation of eCommerce products with market leaders and joint acquisition of clients enables Divante to win many new clients for ambitious projects,’ adds Tomasz Karwatka.

Divante is currently employing over 250 eCommerce experts. Its portfolio has over 1000 projects completed for 400 global clients.
