Divante, specializing in innovative solutions for e-commerce, helped one of the most popular clothing brands in Poland in launching the German version of an online sales channel. Within the project Divante has provided Solar with comprehensive services in IT, UX and eMarketing.
The activities carried out by Divante involved adapting Solar’s online store to the specifics of the German market and local legal requirements. In order to do it, a sector audit was carried out, including an analysis of the leading competitors. Next, Solar’s e-commerce service was optimized for the expectations of German consumers.
The project launch was combined with the start of a marketing campaign targeting new customers, aimed at promoting the brand and the activation of sales. Technological implementation was based on Prestashop engine, on which Solar is developing its e-shop. At the same time, the website’s integration with Navision system was expanded.
Launching the online sales channel in Germany is the next step in Solar’s development. When entering a new, demanding market we paid special attention to the usability of our site. Today, it is one of the key conditions for determining the success of an e-shop, so we decided to benefit from the support of Divante, which specializes in this area – said Aleksandra Danel, Vice President of Solar Company SA.
In the near future, Solar’s online shop will be given the Trusted Shops certificate, which confirms that the website meets the high quality standards. The work carried out by Divante was coordinated with the work of an external company, responsible for the shop’s graphic design.
The greatest challenge in this project was adapting Solar’s online shop, operating dynamically in Poland, to the German market – both in terms of usability and legal requirements. Together with the client we have implemented tools by which we can effectively monitor the results of our work, aimed at increasing sales – says Anna Lankauf, UX Designer in Divante.
At the same time, Divante carried out full technical and business configuration of web analytics for Solar’s Polish e-shop. It allowed to effectively monitor and optimize the jointly appointed KPIs. Currently, both parties continue their cooperation in the area of performance marketing.
