Since the 2014 has started three weeks ago, we decided it’s about time to plan this year’s European conference tour. There are many great events to visit, whether you’re an e-Commerce specialist or a Magento lover, so it wasn’t easy to choose, but below you can find a list of events that we believe are worth paying a visit to.

 

15.02.2014 – 7th plentymarkets Online Sellers Congress in Kassel, Germany

Our list begins in Kassel, “the heart of Germany”, where this congress takes place. 35 lectures, including “10 tips to successfully increase the number of sales orders from abroad” by Michael Möglich from eBay and “The perfect online store – Searching for the holy grail.” by Stefan Sobczak from Netshops Commerce, will provide basic knowledge about e-commerce business as well as present upcoming trends.

 

25-26.02.2014 – Internet World Germany in Munich, Germany

Internet World is a B2B-trade fair for e-Commerce and Online Marketing specialists. This event attracts a lot of exhibitors, including Magento professionals. Fairs are accompanied by Trade Congress with an official motto “The Future of E-Commerce”.

4-5.03.2014 – Meet Magento Spain in Madrid, Spain

Meet Magento conferences are well known in the e-Commerce world, however this is the first time for this event to be held in Spain. It is a great opportunity to meet Magento and e-Commerce experts, gain unique knowledge and establish interesting contacts.

 

11-12.03.2014 – Retail Business Technology Expo in London, UK

RBTE is “the must attend event in the retail calendar”, as you can read on its website. With over 9,000 visitors expected, it can truly be an impressive event for everyone connected with e-Commerce, marketing or IT. The thing that’s worth mentioning is a two day eCommerce Bootcamp, hosted by RBTE 2014,  that is free to attend as long as you make a pre-registration.

 

20-21.05.2014 – Nordic eCommerce Summit in Stockholm, Sweden

If you’re going to visit Stockholm in May, don’t forget about one of the most popular e-Commerce conferences in Sweden. According to its website, 70% of Nordic eCommerce Summit visitors are e-retailers, mostly selling products, only 21% sell services. If you don’t have time this May – don’t worry, there is another edition in November in Malmö.

 

16-18.06.2014 – Global E-Commerce Summit in Barcelona, Spain

The motto of this year’s Global E-commerce Summit is “The Next E-commerce revolution: No Borders, No Channels”. As Gracia Amico, E-commerce Director Hobbs, said: “The Global E-commerce Summit is an excellent place to hear, learn, share and network with a global group of very engaged and active people in our field. The breadth of content and attendees is truly inspiring.”

 

23-25.06.2014 – eTail Europe in London, UK

Coming back from Barcelona, you should definitely stop off in London for e-Tail Europe. This multi-channel retailing event brings together over 600 professionals, giving an excellent opportunity to benefit from the synergy effect. The conference is an occasion for networking as well as for gaining knowledge from interesting content.

14-15.07.2014 – MagentoLive UK 2014 in UK

Although we’re still waiting for details on this year’s conference, the whole Magento community is very excited about MagentoLive 2014. It’s a place to be for everyone working with Magento platform, a great opportunity to learn from industry veterans and an occasion to hear about the newest features.

 

23-25.09.2014 – E-Commerce Paris Show in Paris, France

According to it’s website, this three-day-long event is the main European gathering devoted to e-commerce and cross-channel distribution. With 500 companies taking part in the event and 350 sessions it attracts around 30 000 visitors, from which over 90% are satisfied with the visit. If that doesn’t convince you, remember: there is no place like Paris…
